Well, Lydia just keeps on growing and learning new things. She turned 6 mos old last week. We had her 6 mo appt and got to find out how big she is...18 lbs 0.5 oz!!!! and she's 27 inches tall! She got another round of shots and only cried for a minute or two after...much better than the 45 minutes she cried last time! She's pretty much mastered the art of sitting up these days and takes quite awhile to fall over anymore.We've also finally worked through sleep training and it went fairly well. She cried for an hour at 1 am the first night and we haven't had much more than 5 or ten minutes of crying here or there since. I think a 6 mo old Lydia was much more ready for sleep training than a 4 mo old Lydia. She tried chicken for the first time today, pureed with some squash and corn. Yum!!! At least she thought so! We've started going to the park on the weekends. She loves to watch all the cars, people, and dogs go by. The people there are quite fond of watching her too.
